Who we are
Contra Faba Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 12848166, at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX.
For any question about this notice or about your personal data, contact us on 020 4614 1084 (London) or 0141 461 9997 (Glasgow), or write to us at the address above.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into our contact form, and only when you choose to submit it:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you provide one (optional)
- The subject and content of your message
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies on this site, and we do not set cookies for those purposes. We do not buy or receive personal data about you from third parties, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information solely to read and respond to your enquiry and, if it leads to work, to discuss and deliver that work. Our lawful basis islegitimate interests — responding to someone who has deliberately contacted us about our services. Where an enquiry becomes a project, our basis becomes performance of a contract.
We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unrelated material on the strength of an enquiry.
Who processes it
This website is hosted by Netlify, which also handles contact-form submissions on our behalf as a data processor. Submissions are stored in our Netlify account and forwarded to us by email. Netlify may process data outside the UK; where it does, that transfer relies on the safeguards Netlify has in place for international transfers.
We do not sell your personal data or share it with anyone else, except where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as we need it. Where an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it within 24 months. Where it becomes a project, we keep the project records for 6 years after completion, which matches the period during which a contractual claim could still be brought.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete data we no longer have a reason to keep
- object to, or ask us to restrict, our use of your data
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another organisation
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, atico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
